Why this brain dump works

A racing mind isn’t a planning problem, it’s a storage problem — too much held in your head at once. A brain dump empties all of it onto two columns of lines, no order required. The relief is immediate, and a tidy to-do list is far easier to build from paper than from panic.

How to use it

  1. Print the PDF (US Letter or A4).
  2. Write down everything on your mind — tasks, ideas, worries — as fast as it comes, no sorting.
  3. When it’s all out, mark what’s a real next action and move those to your planner or to-do list.

Pairs well with: Daily To-Do List · Weekly Planner · Gratitude Journal

Questions

What's a brain dump for?+

Getting everything swirling in your head — tasks, ideas, worries, reminders — out onto paper in one go. Once it's down, you can sort it; while it's in your head, it just loops.

When should I do one?+

Any time your head feels full — a Sunday reset, before a big week, or at 2am when you can't switch off. Dump first, organise later.
