Why this recipe card works

The best recipes you own aren’t in a book — they’re the ones in your head, half-remembered, or scribbled on a receipt that’s now lost. Writing them onto a clean card, ingredients beside method, makes them keepable, shareable, and easy to follow when you’re cooking with floury hands.

How to use it

  1. Print the PDF (US Letter or A4) — one per recipe.
  2. Note the serves and time, then the ingredients and method side by side.
  3. Sleeve it (so splashes wipe off) and file it. Over time, you’ve built your own cookbook.

Questions

What size is the recipe card?+

It's a full-page card with ingredients and method side by side — roomier than a little index card, so longer family recipes actually fit without microscopic handwriting.

Can I build a recipe book with these?+

Yes — that's the idea. Print one per recipe, pop them in a binder or sleeves, and you've got your own cookbook of the meals your household actually eats.
