Why this monthly meal planner works

Weekly planning is great, but a month-at-a-glance view does something extra: it stops the accidental repeats, helps you plan around busy nights and leftovers, and makes batch-cooking obvious. One calendar, one dinner per box, far fewer 5 p.m. decisions.

How to use it

  1. Print the PDF (US Letter or A4) and write the month at the top.
  2. Pencil in anchor meals first — the standing favourites — then fill the gaps.
  3. Note busy evenings and plan something quick (or leftovers) for those days on purpose.

Questions

Isn't planning a whole month too much?+

You don't have to fill every box. Even roughing in a few anchor meals a week — taco Tuesday, Friday pizza — removes most of the daily 'what's for dinner' decisions.

Weekly or monthly — which should I use?+

Use the weekly planner if you shop weekly and like detail; use this monthly view to spot patterns, rotate favourites and avoid the same meal three times in a fortnight.
